Writer's Block III: Calm After the Storm

Poetry is life! That is the phrase, the motto that seems to sum up the year 2021 and the events that took place that made this book one of the more personal, deep, and captivating books of my writing career. As a continuation of the series that began my writing journey, Writer's Block III: Calm After the Storm really highlights my innermost thoughts with stand outs like Wind Chill, I Have Strength, and When the Heart Speaks. As I begin to accept fate, and except the reality you will see a calming come over me with poems such as Dedication To My Children, High Road, and Salute You. As the book progresses my mind gets sharper, my confidence builds and I'm ready for the next phase in my life. Writer’s Block III: Calm After the Storm provides the reader the ability to take a deep dive into my heart, my mind, and my soul; tosee the growth, the maturation and confidence manifest like the blossoming of plants, like the rose that grew from concrete.
